With the four decks, a disc jockey can play four songs at once, or layer four sources of sound. Each deck can be synchronized or independently operated, so the DJ has ultimate control and creativity. And, you can see waveform of the track two ways. On top the zoom waveform scrolls on a play marker, and on the bottom the fixed waveform has a moving position marker. You can change position by moving the marker using your mouse.

There are an amazing 21 effects that come with this program. This is a vast improvement over the number of effects past versions of this software offered. There is also a lot of looping support and the ability to beat loop and beat jump. The browser to pull up files is a lot like the iTunes interface which is super easy to use. The data saved on the software can be taken from one computer to another with no data loss. You will find this program to be extremely useful as a DJ.

Traktor DJ software may take awhile for a new disc jockey to learn, but once you have all the features down you can accomplish so many different things.
